Pereka fesyen terkenal, Jovian Mandagie menerusi laman Instagram meluahkan kekecewaan apabila niatnya membantu menyediakan Pakaian Perlindungan Diri (PPE) didakwa untuk meraih keuntungan.
Jelas Jovian, dana sumbangan yang ditubuhkan olehnya untuk menyediakan PPE demi kegunaan frontliner hospital didakwa dijual dengan mengambil upah dan keuntungan.
Malah, tegasnya dia akan bertindak memulangkan kembali wang sumbangan yang diterima andai ada pihak yang tidak yakin dengan kerja amal yang dilakukan.
“OK guys, niat NAK TOLONG. TAPI KENA FITNAH PULAK. I want to help people, but if you have doubt in me. I rest my case. I will shut down the page for fundraising and refund back ALL the money collected immediately once the money cleared tomorrow.
“As of now, as you can see, it is still floating due to the processing of settlement. What will happen next? I will then immediately text all the hospitals that I have promised to donate that we will not be able to supply their PPEs.
“Why? Because the project need to be called off pasal kena fitnah!!. BUT, if you trust me I will assure you that you will see the 10,000 PPE suits delivered to these hospitals within the next 30days. InsyAllah,” luahnya.
Terdahulu, Jovian antara designer yang tampil menghulurkan bantuan bagi menyediakan PPE untuk keperluan hospital yang mengalami kekurangan alat perlindungan diri itu.
